Welcome to the website for Real Advocates Now Emerging(RANE), we are a group of persons with developmental disabilities who want to live life just as everyone else, with the chance to make of it as much as we can.

MISSION STATEMENT

• RANE advocacy is based on the principles of self-determination.

• The primary nature of RANE is being a task oriented advocacy group that takes its mission seriously. The opportunity for socialization is secondary but not of least importance. RANE members support each other like people do in circles of friends.

•  RANE members will learn to see what it is to represent one's self and  other self-advocates.

• RANE members will learn about self-determination issues and events occurring locally and statewide, as well as, nationally.
